Gay For Good (G4G) mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion, and strengthen ties to the broader community. They envision a world where all people, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, feel seen, safe, valued, included, celebrated, equal, and prideful.
Gay For Good has six methods for achieving its amazing mission. They first identify and connect with nonprofits that support the environment, animal welfare, and people in need in each city chapter. Some of their nonprofit partners include Grandma's House of Hope, Project Angel Food, & the Los Angeles LGBT Center. They then support these organizations through volunteer service & by helping to amplify their missions through G4G's vast network of LGBTQ+ volunteers. Gay For Good also coordinates social events for its LGBTQ+ volunteers and allies to develop long-lasting friendships & strong networks of great people. Finally, G4G fosters and promotes a spirit of positive, enthusiastic companionship both within the LGBTQ+ community as well as towards allies & their nonprofit partners. Overall, G4G's goal is to do something valuable for the community & to make a positive difference in the world whilst having lots of fun!
In order to ensure that G4G's mission is spread as far as possible, they have 19 chapters across the country that work to help the LGBTQ+ community. Their chapters are located in many cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, & Philadelphia. These chapters allow for hundreds of LGBTQ+ volunteers around the country to participate in Gay For Good's cause. G4G also strives to expand its chapters so that more individuals can participate in its mission!

We just added a NEW LGBTQIA+ section to our Resources page! G4G is, of course, on that list, however, there are many other resources mentioned there as well! If you think of a resource that is not listed, please contact us & we will add it on! Thank you :)
Let's just state it directly, even to those who don't embrace the gay lifestyle, people are entitled to live and pursue their lives independently without fear, unfairness, or discrimination. Another interesting and informative story Arielle/ProjectWhy. I hope ProjectWhy continues to grow, publish individual's stories, and become a great source of information to make a difference to those in need.
People are people, whether they have innies or outies. More people throughout history were & are gay than have blue eyes. It is ridiculous that there is ANY discrimination based on this factor (as during many historical periods, it was considered totally normal) but since this culture is much more repressive than many, we are SO GRATEFUL that support organizations like G4G exist. THANK YOU ProjectWHY for spreading the word!
Oh my goodness!! I can’t believe they have 19 chapters all over the country!!
